BFA Audition/Interview Information

Required only for BFA Acting applicants.

Please prepare two contrasting two-minute monologues: one classical (plays before 1850) and one contemporary. To schedule an audition, complete the supplemental application and select your desired city.

A confirmation will be mailed to you.

MFA Acting Audition Information

Application deadline: January 11, 2008

 

In order to apply to the MFA program in Acting, all applicants MUST audition.  Please prepare two contrasting two-minute monologues: one classical (plays before 1850) and one contemporary.  Auditions for fall 2008 admission are as follows:

New York

NOTE: Walk-in auditions will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis given space availability.

At the conclusion of the audition tour, a select number of applicants will be invited to USC for the final callback.  Students admitted into the program will be selected from this group of students.  Callbacks are scheduled for March 1 & 2, 2008 on the USC campus in Los Angeles.

International Students

We gladly welcome applications from students of foreign institutions.  Please keep in mind, however, that our training program is intended for American theatre.  With that said, all applicants must be able to speak fluent English.
