Neel Keller is an Associate Producer at Center Theatre Group for the Mark Taper Forum and the Ahmanson Theatre. For Center Theatre Group, Neel has directed Pyrenees, Stones in His Pockets and Good Thing. He has enjoyed a long artistic relationship with the Taper, having directed the acclaimed world premiere production of Jessica Goldberg's Good Thing for Taper, Too and numerous new plays for the Taper's New Work Festival, including works by Bob Glaudini, Caridad Svich and Lisa Loomer. Outside of CTG, Neel has directed at theatres across the country and has served, in wildly varying capacities, on the staffs of La Jolla Playhouse, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Remains Theatre, Lincoln Center Theater, the American National Theatre and Jerome Robbins' Broadway. His favorite productions include the world premieres of Good Thing and Howard Gould's Diva, the American premiere of David Greig's The Cosmonaut's Last Message to the Woman He once Loved in the Former Soviet Union, and, A Midsummer Night's Dream, staged in a field nearly 15 years ago, the thought of which still makes him smile.
