Born and raised in Wyoming with degrees from University of Minnesota, Central School of Speech and Drama, and USC; taught at Cal State Northridge, Reed College, and Cornell. A nationally known voice and acting teacher, he now is Director of Performance Studies in USC's School of Theatre. He writes, builds classic trucks, and goes to Wyoming. He has coached major film stars and works regularly at theatres in Southern California.
