Lora Zane trained as an actor at the conservatory formerly known as the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. She has acted professionally in theatre, film and television extensively over the past 20 years. She also directs in the theatre, including the American premiere of Cockroach, Who? by Jess Walters for Tuesday Laboratory Productions, and MUD by Maria Irene Fornes at the Alliance Repertory Co. She has taught at the USC School of Theatre since 1992. She teaches Acting, Directing, Experimental Theatre Workshop I and "Sex on Stage," a theatre workshop that explores the issues of gender and sexuality.
